Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program (SINP) has three Business Immigration categories:
- Entrepreneur Category, this category is for foreign entrepreneurs who plan to create, buy, or partner in a business, and actively managing it while living in the province.
- International Graduate Entrepreneur Category, for international students who graduated from a Saskatchewan College or University and plan to start, buy, and operate a business in the province.
- Farm Owner and Operator Category, for foreign entrepreneurs with farm ownership and operation experience who wish to buy and run a farm in the province.
The Eligibilities:
1. Entrepreneur Category
- Net Worth
- Have a minimum of $500,000 CAD Assets.
- Experience
- Have at least 3 years of business management or ownership experience from the past 10 years.
- Investment
- A minimum of $300,000 CAD investment in Regina and Saskatoon, or a minimum of $200,000 CAD in all other communities.
- Ownership
- 33.3% or more of ownership, if investment is $1 million CAD or above it is not required.
- Language
- A minimum of Canadian Benchmark Level (CLB) 5 English or French
- Job Creation
- 2 or more.
2. International Graduate Entrepreneur Category
- Age
- At least 21 years old.
- Education
- At least 2 years or more of completed program from a Saskatchewan College or University.
- Work Permit
- A valid Post Graduate Work Permit with at least 24 months remaining
- Ownership
- at least 33.3% of ownership.
- Experience
- after Expression of Interest step have at least 1 year business ownership and operation experience prior to nomination application.
- Revenue
- Minimum required revenue amount is dependent of the number of the employees
- Language
- A minimum of Canadian Benchmark Level (CLB) 7 English or French
3. Farm Owner and Operator Category
- Net Worth
- Have a minimum of $500,000 CAD Assets
- .Investment
- A minimum of $150,000 CAD
- Revenue
- Annual revenue must be a minimum of 10,000 CAD
- Ownership
- 33.3% or more of ownership, if investment is $1 million CAD or above it is not required.
- Experience
- have at least 3 years of relevant experience
- Intent Grading Grid
- A minimum of 55 points
