For international graduates from Alberta Colleges or Universities who want to establish or operate a business in Alberta and obtain Permanent Residence by investment
The eligibility for Graduate Entrepreneur Stream:
- Education
- Have at least two years of full-time education, resulting in a degree or diploma from an Alberta College or University.
- Work Permit
- Have a Post-Graduation Work Permit (PGWP) and is valid at the time of your Expression of Interest (EOI) submission.
- Language
- Have a minimum of CLB level 7 for each reading, writing, listening and speaking. Official test results must be less than 2 years old at the time EOI is submitted.
- Business Ownership
- A minimum 34% ownership for the business they establish or purchase
- Business partners must be Canadian Citizens or Permanent Residents
