Customer Service Representative

Location: Edmonton, Canada

Wage: $16-20/hour

Job Description:

  • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and assisting customers with their shipping, printing, and packaging needs.
  • Efficiently process customer transactions, including package shipments, printing services, and product purchases, using the UPS Store’s computerized systems.
  • Answer incoming phone calls and respond to customer inquiries promptly and professionally, providing accurate information about services, pricing, and policies.
  • Handle customer complaints and concerns effectively, demonstrating empathy, active listening, and problem-solving skills to resolve issues to the customer’s satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve store goals, such as sales targets, customer satisfaction metrics, and operational efficiency.
  • Process incoming and outgoing shipments accurately, including weighing packages, printing shipping labels, and tracking delivery status.
  • Uphold a professional and courteous demeanor at all times when interacting with customers, colleagues, and third-party service providers.

Requirements:

  • Fluency in English, both verbal and written, is required.
  • Previous customer service experience preferred, ideally in a retail or service-oriented environment.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to addressing customer needs and concerns.
