Experienced farmers who plan to buy or start a farm in Alberta and wish to apply for permanent residence.
The Eligibility for Farm Stream:
- Farm management skills
- Must prove farm management skills which can be financial documents of an existing farm business, or documents that shows education, training or work experience.
- A complete business plan proposal that describes the farm they intend to establish or buy in Alberta.
- A proof of financial assistance from the Canadian financial institutions
- Financial Resources
- Required to invest a minimum of $500,000 CAD in the farm business
- Provide supporting documents to demonstrate a net worth of at least $500,000 CAD
- Investment Plan
- Must outline investment plans in a business plan
